FFF 2025

Event Overview

Dates:

April 16 – 20, 2025

Location:

Downtown Fredericksburg

This year’s festival was a five-day celebration of independent film in the heart of Fredericksburg. FFF 2025 showcased films from around the world, including panel discussions, filmmaker Q&As, and networking opportunities with creatives across various fields.

Our Goal for 2025

At FFF, we are dedicated to celebrating the art of storytelling and shining a spotlight on talented filmmakers from Virginia and across the world. The festival was thoughtfully designed to center filmmakers and their experiences, giving them a platform to share, discuss, and celebrate their work, and connect with their fellow creators.

For 2025, we expanded the festival by integrating music and visual art, partnering with local artists to further highlight Fredericksburg’s creative community. As FFF continues to grow, our vision is to establish Fredericksburg as a recognized hub for creativity, storytelling, and artistic collaboration.

This year’s theme, “It’s Not the Camera, It’s the Eye,” highlighted the idea that the true power of a film lies not in the equipment used, but in the filmmaker’s vision that brings it to life. While some of these films may have been created with limited budgets, they break free from the conventional structures of mainstream cinema, driven by creativity and originality.
